All Saints-by-the-Sea-Episcopal Church Supports Emergency Response!
All Saints by the Sea Episcopal Church, 83 Eucalyptus Lane, has been a member of MERRAG and has maintained an emergency radio for several years.
After the Emergency Town Hall Meeting on July 6, members were moved to become better prepared for emergencies. Several parishioners including David Boyd, Tina Coffin, Michael Ditmore and Phil Wilcox (who are all active participants in MERRAG) persuaded the rector and vestry to purchase SOS Survival Products and supplies for up to 200 persons in the event of an emergency.
The supplies cost $3200 and are securely stored on the campus. The supplies were purchased and stored in accordance with the model designed by Vicki Harbison for Montecito Union School.
